Consequences:
If a student does not abide by the expectations listed above, they will receive a mark in the discipline notebook.
1 Mark = Warning
2 Marks = Lose 5 Minutes Recess Walking
3 Marks = Lose 10 Minutes Recess Walking
4 Marks = Lose 15 Minutes Recess Walking + Parent Communication
5 Marks = Detention
Each week is independent of the other and starts at zero at the beginning of the next week except for Parent Communication Logs.
A student will receive a Parent Communication Log if they receive 3 marks in the class notebook in one week.
If they received 3 Parent Communication Logs, they will receive a detention.
Even though marks do not cumulate from week to week, students could miss some class activities if they receive a detention during the 9 week period or at the end of the school year. We encourage all students to follow the behavior expectations.
As always, severe disruptions will result in an immediate detention or visit to the vice principal's office.
